New site, new beginning…

After months in the wilderness, my new site is now semi-live. It’s been the best part of 2 years in the making, 15 or so designs and developments later and umpteen logo changes later. Being the client and the developer at the same time has proven to be a difficult task, but i’ve finally managed to get there.

The new site differs greatly from the old; It’s now fully integrated into WordPress, my CMS of choice (and why wouldn’t I build my own site into WordPress, when i’m doing the same for clients), it’s fully responsive for mobile and tablet (and the experience does alter slightly on each device, tweaked for the target audience) and it’s been carefully optimised for search engines, in particular mobile google searches.

So now that it’s here, you can expect regular updates on the blog regarding everything and anything in the web world, examples of recent work in the form of some case studies and hopefully you’ll get to know a bit more about me and the team I work with.

Before I finish, now would probably be a good time to mention the latest project i’ve worked on with Paperinos. Head over to the work section of the site to get a more in depth idea of how (and why) the site was developed.
